Diplomatic Relations: Meeting with the Vietnamese Ambassador to Myanmar

Vice President U Nyo Saw received Vietnamese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Nguyen Anh Duc at the President’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

The Vice President stated the official visit by President U Min Aung Hlaing to Viet Nam, stressing the opening of new chapter in bilateral diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Under Comprehensive Cooperative Partnership between the two nations, the Vice President discussed Myanmar’s current development progress and efforts on building regional peace and stability as well as further sectoral cooperation among regional and neighboring countries. They cordially exchanged views on economy, trade and investment opportunities and signing of MOU on Investment Promotion between the two countries.
