Ministry of Health and Sports at 8:00 p.m. on Monday reported 897 new COVID-19 cases after testing lab specimens from 8 p.m. of 27th to 8 p.m. of 28th September.

COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have now reached 11.631 with 256 deaths till 8:00 p.m. on 28th September. 3,073 recovered patients have been discharged from the hospitals and put under quarantine.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, India, Brazil, Russian Federation, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Spain, Argentina and South Africa according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 3:52 pm CEST, 28th September 2020, there have been over 33.03 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 996,342 deaths, reported to WHO.
