Voting in Progress : Over 25,000 eligible voters in Lanmadaw Township

Voting is in progress in Lanmadaw Township of Yangon Region. Over 25,000 voters are eligible for casting their favourite candidates in the Phase-3 of the multi-party democracy general election.

They have to elect candidates for Pyithu Hluttaw, Amyotha Hluttaw, Region/ State Hluttaw and Ethnic Constituencies respectively. [Soundbite] Voters expressed their hopes of better changes of the country with progress in economy and creating more job opportunities.

Myanmar is holding the multi-party democracy general election in three phases. The first phase took place on December 28, 2025, the second phase on January 11, 2026 and the third phase is being held on January 25.
