Coordination Meeting: Shan State Government To Confer Religious Titles

Shan State Government held a coordination meeting on Wednesday in Taunggyi to confer religious titles. In this meeting, Chief Minister Dr. KyawTun said that the 2022 religious titles conferring ceremony will be held simultaneously at 1 p.m. on the 16th of March in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, regions and states in line with the COVID-19 prevention guidelines.

Chairmen and members of the Central Committee and Work Committee on Organizing the Religious Titles Conferring Ceremony in Shan State made discussions and the Chief Minister coordinated the discussions.

It’s learnt that Shan State Government will confer religious titles to 27 members of the Sangha, nuns and laypersons.
