





Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, convened a coordination meeting in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday to discuss preparations for achieving success and winning medals at the 33rd SEA Games, focusing on victory strategies, training, and technical matters.
In his opening remarks, the Union Minister stated that with the 33rd SEA Games scheduled to be held in Thailand in December 2025, the focus must be on achieving medal success. He emphasized the importance of training strategies and technical aspects, and called for detailed discussions on the current training camps based in Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon, including the athletes’ accommodation, food, and training conditions.
As the meeting continued, the decisions from previous meetings were reviewed, and then Directors General, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, Deputy Directors General, and relevant departmental heads reported on their respective sectors.
They discussed the status of current operations, completed tasks, and plans for future implementation. Union Minister Jeng Phang Naw Taung, along with Deputy Ministers U Htein Lin and U Zin Min Htet, provided additional comments on the reports and discussions, and issued necessary instructions.
