Coordination Meeting: Meeting on construction projects held

The third coordination meeting to ensure the timely completion and quality standards of ongoing construction projects funded by the Tanintharyi Region Budget was held on February 26th at the Region Government Office meeting hall in Dawei.

During the meeting, Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko emphasized the need for discussions on the progress of construction projects being implemented by departments during the 2025-2026 fiscal year. He stated that the Region must strive diligently to ensure that all construction projects within the 2025-2026 fiscal year meet prescribed standards and are completed within the stipulated timeframe.

He particularly stressed the need to oversee the timely completion of building construction projects and urged all concerned to collectively strive for 100 percent completion of all construction projects by March. Departmental heads then clarified the completion status of construction projects, ongoing works, plans for completion within designated periods, and future project implementations. Region ministers provided supplementary discussions, and the Chief Minister coordinated necessary arrangements.
