Cooperation Plans : Meeting with the UNFPA delegation

Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win received Mr. Jaime Nadal Roig, Resident Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), at the ministry on Friday. They discussed the implementation of reproductive health programs through collaboration between the ministry and UNFPA.

The talks also covered UNFPA’s participation in efforts to reduce maternal and child mortality, training on estimating medicines and related equipment for reproductive health, logistics support for distributing health and nutrition items via EU cargo planes during disasters, emergency response measures, and future cooperation plans.
