Cooperation in health sector: MoH Union Minister receives Thai Ambassador to Myanmar

Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win received a delegation led by Thai Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. MongkolVisitstumpat the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday.

On the occasion, they discussed achievements in cooperation between the two countries in the COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment, accelerating malaria, venereal disease and tuberculosis control activities in border areas, plan to construct a high standard hospital with the assistance of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA),signing MoU with medical universities in Thailand to extend the term of medical teaching and boosting cooperation in health sector of the two countries.
