






Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan, on June 11, accompanied by state ministers and departmental officials, conducted a field inspection in the Sin Ai Kwin area near Ngwe Pyaw Model Village, Palana village tract, in Myitkyina Township to promote livestock breeding businesses .
During the inspection, the Chief Minister met with livestock entrepreneurs and departmental officials. They discussed the approval status of applications to use vacant, fallow, and virgin land in the area, the progress of ongoing projects, and the review process for applications submitted in accordance with laws and procedures. Following this, the Chief Minister delivered remarks and coordinated with departmental officials to address necessary matters.
The Chief Minister and officials then toured and inspected a farm owned by U Thein Win, observing the breeding of over 6,000 broiler chickens in a completed facility and the construction of a new, expanded chicken farm.
From there, they proceeded to Ngwe Pyaw Model Village. Together with the village administrator and committee members, they inspected the site for the village football ground, providing necessary instructions. The Chief Minister also coordinated with officials to arrange for the planting of fast-growing, shady Manjansha saplings along both sides of the village entrance road.
After that, the Chief Minister and officials returned to the Sin Ai Kwin area to inspect the expanded landfill site designated for the disposal and destruction of waste from Myitkyina Township. He gave necessary instructions and coordinated with the responsible officials, it’s reported.
