





Kayah State Chief Minister U Ant Maw, accompanied by members of the State Government, on Saturday,inspected the ongoing cleanliness and beautification activities along Kandarawaddy Road and the Loikaw-Shadaw ာ Road, as well as plans to expand agricultural and livestock activities.
First, the State Chief Minister and officials inspected the desilting of drains and collective cleaning activities being carried out along both sides of Kandarawaddy Road in Naung Yar (B) Ward.
They also inspected the cleaning activities being undertaken along both sides of the Loikaw-Shadaw Road by personnel from the State Police Force, Fire Services Department, General Administration Department and other government departments.
Next, the State Chief Minister and members of the State Government arrived in Naung Yar (A) Ward and inspected the construction of a dairy farm to raise 26 dairy cows with funds from the State Government, with the aim of providing milk as a nutritional supplement to basic education school students.
He instructed responsible officials to systematically plant Napier grass in vacant areas around the farm. The State Chief Minister and party then proceeded to the model farm being operated by the Department of Agriculture, where they inspected land preparation activities being carried out to enable the cultivation of seasonal crops.
Subsequently, the State Chief Minister and officials visited Yay Ni Kan Village and inspected layer chicken farms being operated by the Department of Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Services, giving necessary guidance and instructions.
