







An awareness and clarification on anti-corruption and prevention was held Monday in the meeting hall of the Ministry of Immigration and Population, jointly organized by the Ministry and the Anti-Corruption Commission. Union Minister U Myint Kyaing and Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission U Soe Thein each delivered opening speeches.
Afterwards, officials from the Anti-Corruption Commission office gave presentations and clarifications on anti-corruption processes and key legal knowledge regarding the Anti-Corruption Law. They also responded to questions raised by the staff.
Following the event, Commission Member U Toe Yi met with members of the department's Corruption Prevention Unit (CPU) in the same hall. They discussed experiences encountered in the CPU teams' operations, assessments of strengths and weaknesses, and related matters, it’s reported.
