Chinese Premier Meets Sri Lankan PM

Chinese Premier Li Qiang held talks with visiting Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dinesh on bilateral ties and issues of mutual concern in Beijing on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Li said that China and Sri Lanka are strategic cooperation partners that enjoy sincere mutual help and an everlasting friendship. The two countries have been treating each other based on mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit since the establishment of diplomatic relationship 67 years ago, enjoying a fine tradition of supporting and helping each other, he noted.
