China authorities confirm no plane crash survivors

Chinese authorities confirmed on Saturday, that all passengers and crew members of China Eastern Airlines Flight MU5735, which crashed on March 21, died.

During a press conference, Hu Zhenjiang, the Deputy Head of Civil Aviation Administration of China, said after investigating the impact site, there were no signs of life for the 123 passengers and nine crew members.

He added that authorities have managed to identify 120 of the victims through DNA analysis. On Sunday morning, the second black box- the flight data recorder- was recovered from the crash site. The cause of the plane crash remains under investigation.
