Child Labor Awareness Training: 40 trainees attend the 2-day training course

The opening ceremony of “Child Labor Awareness Training Course No.2” was held at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement on Thursday with the attendance of Union Minister Dr. Thet Thet Khine. 

In her speech, the Union Minister stressed about the children in the community who need protection, sexual violence cases, and children who affected by natural disasters or conflicts and protection of child labor from being exploited. She said the course aims to provide the effective protection against the cases of child labor. 

The Union Minister also stressed that the Social Event Management System implemented by the Department of Social Welfare is aimed to provide high-quality social event managers in solving the social problems of affected people.

The training is being opened for 2 days from 9th to 10th March, and it was attended by a total of 40 trainees. After the training, the trainees could help to solve the social problems of child labor with the knowledge gained from the training.
