Chief Minister’s Trophy: U-21 Football (Men) commetition held in Dawei

The final match and prize awarding ceremony fot the Taninthayi Region Chief Minister’s Trophy Inter-Townships U-21 Football (Men) commetition was held at Shwe Wei Thiri Sports Ground in Dawei Township in the evening on 23rd of May.

The Chief Minister and officials watched the final match between Team Dawei and Team Kawthoung and the two teams tied with nil and Team Dawei beat in a Penalty shoot out.At the prize awarding ceremony, Region Ministers U ThetNaing, U Khin Maung Myint and U MaungGyi awarded the individual medals and cash prizes to the excellent players at each places and best players.

Region Minister for security and border affairs Col. Min MinLatt awarded the second prize to Team Kawthoung and the Chief Justice of Region High Court Daw Paik Paik Aye presented individual medals and cash prize to the first prize winner of Team Dawei.

The Chairman of Region Football Federation U Aung Win presented 200,000 Kyats of cash prize to second prize winner Team Kawthoung and 300,000 Kytats of cash prize to the first prize winner Team Dawei. Then, the Region Chief Minister U MyatKo awarded the trophy to the first prize winner Team Dawei, it’s reported.
