Ceremony of Presenting Stationery: SAC member DPM UM attended the event

Member of the State Administration Council, Deputy Prime Minister, Union Minister for Defense, General Maung Maung Aye, attended the first stationery distribution ceremony for students for the 2025–2026 academic year, held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of defense in Nay Pyi Taw on May 21.

During the event, the Union Minister stated that school enrollment for basic education students for the 2025–2026 academic year would begin on May 22, and that, upon enrollment, the Government will provide each student with a complete set of textbooks according to their grade level, exercise books, blank notebooks, school uniforms, pencils, and pens free of charge.

He urged students to attend school regularly, study diligently, and strive for academic success. He also encouraged them to aim to become educated individuals who can contribute to and be relied upon by their families and the country. Next, the Union Minister handed out stationery supplies to students who are children of officers and staff members.
