



Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Thet Thet Khine gave a speech at the opening of social case management book applying course that was held in the Ministry on Thursday.
At the event, the Union Minister said that the Nationwide Case Management Supervision Unit (NCMSU) was formed in 2020 with nine members. Through case managers, it is assisting those in need throughout the country.
She added that the training is very important for information entry and that needs to make continuous improvement. It is important for information to be kept confidential for the dignity of the individual and case managers needs to follow the ethics as well as to have good attitude.
The Union Minister called for opening more training courses for strengthening case management system. Deputy Minister U Aung Tun Khaing said that this training is a practical training related to work and also supports life.
The opening of the training will enhance the capacity of staff and they can implement more social case management processes than before that is one of the work programs of the Department of Social Welfare.
