Around 70 British passengers disembarked from the virus-hit Diamond Princess Cruise ship in Yokohama, Japan early on Saturday after spending two weeks aboard in quarantine. Buses carrying the passengers left Yokohama around 1 am local time and headed to Tokyo's Haneda Airport where a chartered plane waits to return them to Britain. More than 620 people on the cruise ship, which has been quarantined since arriving on February 3 with 3,700 people aboard, have been infected with the coronavirus. China has had more than 75,400 cases of the coronavirus and 2,236 people have died.
