Border Development : MOBA Union Minister tours in Kayah and Shan States

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Phone Myat on July 16 visited Training School for Development of Nationalities Youth from Border Areas in Saikhaung, and met with the staff, teachers, students and trainees.

He also inspected the library, hostels and crop plantations. At the Women Vocational Training School, the Union Minister inspected students learning the practical works and welfare activities. At the Training School for Development of Nationalities Youth from Border Areas in Loikaw, the Union Minister met with staff, teachers, students and trainees and inspected the school facilities.

On the 17, the Union Minister visited the Women Vocational Training School and inspected the construction of staff housing for Kayah State Development Supervisory Office. He also viewed the progress of road construction projects, solar-irrigation system in Loikaw and Taunggyi and also visited the Technical Training School for Nationalities Youth from Border Areas in Aung Pan.
