Birthday Celebration: Yadanabon University celebrates its 23rd Anniversary

Mandalay Yadanabon University celebrated its 23rd anniversary on its main campus on 22nd February.

The aim of the event is to love the university by the students who are now attending the university and to take proud of their university and to turn out outstanding students for the country.

The Mandalay Region Ministers, departmental heads, faculties, retired rectors from respective universities and other concerned officials attended the event. 

Rector, Yadanabon University, Dr. Tint Moe Thuzar said "Today event is to commemorate 23rd anniversary of our university. All the students and educational officers joined the event. The booths, fun fairs, charity feast and entertainment programs involve in the event."

The students who take part in the birthday celebration of the University expressed their feelings about the event.

Student (Final Year), Department of Mathematics, Nyein Myat Soe said "We entertained with the song and we are pleased to participate in the university’s commemoration event. By celebrating such kind of event, we get new friends from different majors. I’m very thankful to the people who organized such kind of event."

Student (4th Year), Department of Law, Pyae Phyo Aung said "I joined the event to receive the award. By doing this event, we can have more friendship and respects each other among students and teachers. At the event, we see the booths of departments so we can know the advantages of each subject by touring around there."

In the commemoration of 23rd Anniversary of Yadanabon University, 360 students donated blood, conducted research paper reading session and offered alms to Sanghas and monks and hold extempore talk competition.
