Banking Services : CBM Governor inspects the banking services

Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar Daw Than Than Swe visited the branches of Myanma Economic Bank and private banks in Mandalay, Amarapura and Sagaing on Friday to oversee the operation of banking services following the severe earthquake. 

During the tour, officials provided update reports on renovation works, banking services through cooperation among the banks and mobile facilities. They also visited the Mandalay Branch of the Central Bank of Myanmar and oversaw the working processes and plans for relocation of Data Centre as well as accommodation arrangements for the affected staff families and construction of new building for the Central Bank Mandalay Branch.
