Myanmar citizens returning from abroad are being accepted at respective border crossings. On 15th January, a total of 31 Myanmar people including 18 males and 13 females returned home through Laukkai, Shan State.
Officials from respective people’s hospitals and Tatmadaw medical corps conducted medical screening for COVID-19 test, documents for quarantine process and COVID-19 awareness to them.
The returnees were transported to their respective homes by buses arranged by the township administration bodies, and those diagnosed with COVID-19 disease were sent to quarantine centres to provide the necessary medical and administration support.
