Australian Space Week kicked off in Adelaide, South Australia, running from July 20 to July 27. The centerpiece public event designed to inspire the younger generation and the community is the Space Day Out held on July 19 as the curtain-raiser.

Organized to drum up excitement for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) careers, the event features. Workshops such as the Space Garden, where kids act as amateur astrobotanists to learn how crops are grown for long-duration space missions.

This initiative is part of a broader push by the Australian Space Agency and regional space sectors to engage school-aged children early, building a sustainable future workforce for Australia's commercial space ambitions.
