Australian and Japanese FMs meet as part of Quad bloc

Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne and Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi met in Melbourne on Saturday. The talks were part of Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (Quad) meetings.

Australia and Japan have signed the Reciprocal Access Agreement last month to provide for shared military training and operations. The two sides discussed promoting cooperation including the collaboration with the allies and likeminded partners.
