








Vice Chair (2) of the National Natural Disaster Management Committee and Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, Dr. Soe Win, along with Union Minister U Myo Thant, Deputy Ministers, and relevant officials, inspected the arrival of 108 modular (prefabricated) office units transported by a 54-carriage train in the morning on May 6, at Ywa Taw Station via the Thilawa Port in Yangon.
Initially, the Union Ministers and officials observed and inspected the process of systematically loading the modular offices onto trucks using cranes for distribution to various ministries, where they will be used as temporary office buildings.
Necessary instructions were given as needed. Following that, the Union Ministers and officials also inspected the placement of container boxes, carried by 16 trucks from Thilawa Port, containing office furniture to be used in the temporary office units.
These were being stored temporarily at Dabaung ground in front of Uppadasanti Pagoda. Of the modular offices that arrived, 25 units were allocated to the Office of the Supreme Court of the Union, 5 units to the Constitutional Tribunal, 30 units to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and 44 units to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation.
The remaining modular offices and office furniture will continue to be distributed to other ministries as required, it’s learnt.
