Amsterdam's Artis Aquarium to reopen after five-year renovation works

Amsterdam’s Artis Aquarium, one of the oldest in the world, gets ready to reopen its doors to the public after five years of renovation to counter erosion caused by more than a century of salt water flowing through the site. During the renovation period, the aquarium team has installed exhibitions on the theme of water, aiming to educate visitors about mankind’s interdependence on ecosystems.
