Amnesty Granted: Artists Granted Pardon and Case Closed

Amnesty granted to 4 actors who are imprisoned for violating the existing law of the country.

The sentences of actors PaingTagun, Lu Min, Pyay TiOo and Eaindra Kyaw Zin have been pardoned starting 2nd March, in order to make contribution for the nation building endeavours with their performing art. Likewise, Beauty Blogger Win Min Than have been granted amnesty to the sentences to be punished under Section 505-a of the Criminal Code, among the penalties she is imposing. It is also learnt that the case, opened to Director Wyne was closed.

Moreover, amnesty was granted to a Malaysian citizen who has been imprisoned at Insein Prison for drug case, starting 2nd March.
