Algeria's ruling party wins most seats in parliament

Algeria's ruling National Liberation Front (FLN) won the most seats in the July 2 parliamentary elections, according to final results announced on Saturday. The FLN secured 91 seats in the National People's Assembly, the Constitutional Court President announced, following the review of appeals against provisional results.

The National Democratic Rally came second followed by the Front of the Future. The elections saw a low voter turnout of 21.25 percent, according to figures released by the Constitutional Court.
