Albanese and Kishida discuss security cooperation

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Saturday met in Perth for talks. During the meeting, Albanese and Kishida signed a joint security declaration.

"Our commitment to consult each other on contingencies is a natural step in our efforts to support the security and stability of the region", Albanese told reporters. It's the fourth time the two leaders have met since Albanese became Prime Minister in May.
