Agriculture & Livestock Sector: Bago Region CM makes inspections in Daik-U Township

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win made agriculture and livestock sector inspections in Daik-U Township.

First, in DaYalMee Village, he inspected sunflower plantation and called on concerned officials to provide pure strain, irrigation and accelerate the sunflower plantation. The Chief Minister also inspected the paddy farm in PaukTaPin Village and held talks with farmers on triple cropping, correct farming techniques, Drum seeder and awareness program before providing antifungal agents.

The Chief Minister continued his inspection trip to KaToteYwama Village, inspected the implementation of 120-acre of mechanized farm with regional government fund of 163.04 million Kyats, heard reports and called for timely completion of the implementation. 

There, the Chief Minister also met with farmers and highlighted the government’s efforts to improve the socioeconomic lives of farmers. He also coordinated with concerned officials to fulfill requirements of the region. Also, the Chief Minister inspected a livestock farm in KyaikSaKaw  Village and provided vaccine.
