Agriculture Development: Distribution of fertilizers with reasonable price discussed

Distribution of fertilizers with reasonable price has been discussed by the stakeholders on January 21st.

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Tin Htut Oo discussed that in an effort to establish the industrial developed nation, it needs to strive for simutaneous development of agriculture and livestock breeding sectors with the use of modern technology.

He called for harmonious cooperation of the government and private sector for distribution of fertilizer with reasonable price since it is an essential input for agriculture development. He also highlighted to promote investment and production of compound fertilizer, and pledged to provide assistance to the factories.

The attendees from the Myanmar Rice Federation, Myanmar Fertilizer, Seed and Pesticide Entrepreneurs Association, Agricultural Input companies and entrepreneurs made sectorwise discussions.
