Agricultural sector: Union Minister inspected Plant Biotechnology Center

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Tin Htut Oo together with the officials concerned inspected the Plant Biotechnological process at the Plant Biotechnology Center in Mingalardon Township, Yangon on May 19.

First, the in-charge of the center clarified the Biotechnological processes and works to be done in the future. In response to the clarification, the union minister gave necessary instructions. Next, the union minister and party viewed round the biotechnological processes.

Then, the union minister and party visited TaiHi Natural Fertilizer Factory, inspected natural fertilizers produced from the waste of breeding animals with Japan technology and gave the instructions required to the officials.

In the afternoon, the union minister and party inspected water supply processes from the KaliHtaw and NgaMoeYeik Dams to the NyaungHnaPin Vegetable Special Producing Zine, met with the village responsible persons and instructed necessaries.
