Agricultural Development: Providing agricultural inputs for farmers

Thanintharyi Region Government provided agricultural inputs for achieving targeted yield of monsoon paddy in Kawthaung and Boat Pyin Districts on Saturday.

Chief Minister U Myat Ko attended the ceremony, held in Kawthaung and stressed the government’s efforts for socio-economic development of people through boosting agricultural production. He called for cooperation of all farmers for long term sustainability of the agriculture and livestock sector. During the ceremony, paddy species and fertilizer as well as cocoa and coffee saplings were provided for over 100 farmers.
