Agricultural data center: The center to provide agricultural data and information

The Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund launched the “Mekong-Lancang Food Security Project in Myanmar by compiling Myanmar's agricultural and rural statistics” In 2018.

Within three years, the project was able to build a two-story data center in Nay Pyi Taw that provides services for the collection and management of agricultural data.

In the future, the project will hold seminars and workshops to increase the capacity of data analysts to improve food security and poverty alleviation, promoting the exchange of agricultural information among the countries in the region, uplifting of production in agriculture, livestock and fisheries sector in Myanmar.
