

The Advanced Culture Training Course No.1 organized by the Shwedagon Pagoda Treasurer’s Board of Trustees was opened at the Buddha’s life Gallery on Monday. The training course aims for members and staffs of the Shwedagon Pagoda Board of Trustees to raise the cultural standard in line with Myanmar traditions in carrying out the religiousaffairs and in providing services to pilgrims.
Bo Thin, Member, Shwedagon Pagoda Treasurer's Board of Trustees said “Seasonal festivals and religious sermon reciting ceremonies are held at the Shwedagon pagoda. Under the instruction of the Shwedagon Pagoda OvadasariyaSayadaw, the reliogiustrainings are conducted inthe prayer and community halls. Organized by the Treasurer’s Board of Trustees,2-week advanced culture training course is being conducted from Monday to Friday for staffs and members.”
There are more than 900 employees at the Shwedagon pagoda. This training course is conducted by SuhtuupanSayadaw.
Bo Thin, Member, Shwedagon Pagoda Treasurer's Board of Trustees said “By attending this course, the staffs will know cultural knowledge and develop their capacity building and public relations. This training course is conducted from the excerptions of Abhidhamma’sreliogus teachings. This kind of training courses will be opened at the community halls and museum hall on the precinct of the pagoda.”
30 participants are attending 2-week training course organzed by Shwedagon Pagoda Treasurer's Board of Trustees.
