2nd day session: State Peace Talks Team meets NMSP peace delegation

The meeting between the State Peace Talks Team and the peace delegation led by the New Mon State Party (NMSP) was held at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Center in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday for the 2nd day.

Member of the State Administration Council Union Minister at the Government Office Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) leader of the Peace Talks Team Lt-Gen YarPyae, SAC member Lt-Gen Moe MyintTun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein, NSPNC members, Vice-Chairman of the New Mon State Party Nai Aung Min, Joint Secretary Nai Win Hla, Central Executive Committee members and peace representatives attended the meeting.

In the 2nd day session, they discussed the remaining matters that have not been completed on the first day and the proposals of the two sides. Later, the common agreements on peace and development negotiated. According to the discussions of the two sides, the drafts to get approvals were discussed and the 2nd day meeting adjourned. The 3rd day meeting will continue on 15th February and it is reported that the two sides will sign the same opinions as agreements.
