
The 2020 General Elections is scheduled to be held on 8th November. The oversea voters can issue Form (15) for Advance Voting at the respective embassies starting 3rd July, the Union Election Commission (UEC) announced on Thursday.
The form (15) can also be downloaded from websites of the UEC, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the respective embassies. They can send back the Form(15) from 16th July to 5th August.
Likewise, the voters outside their constituencies can also asked for Form(15) at the respective election sub-commissions through the heads of training schools, hospitals and detention centers, and returned the forms as of 26th August.
The respective election sub-commissions have to send the advance ballots and envelopes to the training schools, hospitals and detention centers as of 7th October. The advancing voting process have to be carried out from 8th to 21st October, and the advance ballots have to be sent to the respective election sub-commissions as of 4:00 pm on 8th November.
The heads of training schools, hospitals and detention centers are urged to coordinate with the respective township election sub-commissions for the advance voting date at least 3 days ahead. Those who are at the hospitals and detention centers after 26th August can contact to the respective election sub-commission.
