Kayin State Day : President sends message on the 71st Kayin State Day

President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Agga Maha Thray Sithu Agga Maha Thiri Thudhamma U Min Aung Hlaing sent a message on the occasion of the 71st Anniversary Kayin State Day, extending his greetings and best wishes.

In his message, the President highlighted the historical background, cultural heritage, traditions and unity of the Kayin people. He emphasized the importance of peace, stability and cooperation among different ethnic groups for the development of the state. He also stressed the need to promote education, healthcare, agriculture, livestock breeding, MSMEs, tourism and infrastructure development.

He encouraged young people to acquire modern knowledge and skills while preserving their traditional culture and identity. The President called on all communities to strengthen mutual respect, trust and unity, and to work together for lasting peace and sustainable development in Kayin State. He concluded by wishing all ethnic communities in Kayin State peace, security, prosperity and a brighter future.
