Drug Seizure : Stimulant tablets worth K2.26 billion seized in Sagaing

Authorities seized over 1.1 million stimulant tablets worth 2.26 billion kyat from a vehicle near Tagaung Ward in Sagaing Township on October 31. Further investigations led to the arrest of suspects in Kyaukme and Kawkareik, along with a vehicle used to transport the drugs.

According to the investigation, the drugs were being transported from southern Shan State to Kalay via Mandalay. The alleged main organizer remains at large. The arrested suspects have been charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. Further investigations are ongoing.
