Pyidaungsu Hluttaw :7th day meeting of Third Regular Session

The 7thday meeting of the Third Regular Session of the Third Pyidaungsu Hluttaw was held on October 30 at the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw.

According to the agenda, a report on the international trip made by the Speaker of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw was presented, and the parliament recorded it. Furthermore, a message from the President was presented to the parliament regarding the renaming of a Union Ministry to the Ministry of Industry and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development.

Then, the meeting focused on issues including the further extension of special goods tax and commercial tax exemptions on High-Speed Diesel (HSD 500 ppm) and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).In addition, the parliament decided to approve Report (1/2026)—the Joint Public Accounts Committee’s findings and opinion report on the annual report of the 2025–2026 National Plan. The parliament also decided to approve Report (2/2026)—the Joint Public Accounts Committee’s findings and comment report on the annual financial report for the 2025–2026 fiscal year.
