Inspection of Factories: MONREC Union Minister inspects factories in Thanlyin

Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U San Oo visited No. (3) Furniture Factory in Thanlyin Township on the afternoon of October 24. During the visit, officials presented reports on the production of finished furniture goods and their distribution to the market, and the Union Minister gave necessary instructions.

Subsequently, the Union Minister inspected the production status of finished wood furniture at No. (1) and No. (2) Furniture Factories. He instructed that the production of finished wood products should be carried out with minimal wood waste and with neat, high-quality craftsmanship.

Following this, the Union Minister and officials arrived at the Tin Smelting and Refining Plant, where they met with factory employees and provided necessary guidance. Afterwards, it is reported that they inspected the conditions for carrying out maintenance and repair work to resume factory operations.
