Investment Opportunities: Local entrepreneurs invited to join the MOEE event

The Ministry of Electricity and Energy invites local entrepreneurs and interested parties to participate in the Investment Opportunities Presentation and Discussion, which will be held in Nay Pyi Taw during the first week of November 2026.

The Ministry is striving to provide stable and sufficient power distribution, to accelerate crude oil and petroleum products productions, and to reduce energy wastage and losses. As Myanmar possesses a variety of energy resources, the requisite energy demand can be adequately met within the anticipated timeframe by integrating them in a balanced manner, along with the efficient utilization.

Electricity and energy projects and operations require substantial financial investment, as well as the technical expertise and human resources, to ensure the successful implementation.

Accordingly, the State has been inviting various domestic and international organizations to participate in these initiatives. Therefore, efforts are being made to encourage and support foreign investors.

Aiming to enable Myanmar entrepreneurs to grow into major international energy companies and organizations, relevant officials will make presentations and hold discussions on investment opportunities within the Ministry of Electricity and Energy and the requisite assistance of the government.
