Myanmar Gems Emporium: 196 pearl lots sold on 3rd day of the emporium

The 3rd day of 61st Myanmar Gems Emporium continued at Mani Yadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday. Domestic and international gem merchants inspected and examined the pearl lots, gems lots, and jade lots displayed inside the Hall, as well as the jade lots exhibited at designated locations outside the hall.

After examining the pearl lots offered for sale and the merchants submitted their price quotation forms into the designated tender boxes. It’s learnt that a total of 196 pearl lots were sold on 3rd day of the emporium.

Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U San Oo, Patron of the Central Committee for the Myanmar Gems Emporium observed the opening and examination of tenders for the pearl lots and the announcement of the successful tender results and provided necessary instructions.

On the 4th day of the exhibition, 120 pearl lots under Tender No. (5), from Lot No. 461 to Lot No. 580, and another 120 pearl lots under Tender No. (6), from Lot No. 581 to Lot No. 700, will be offered for sale. On the 5th day, a total of 160 gems lots will be sold through an open tender system.

Similarly, a total of 1,605 jade lots from Groups A and B will be sold through an open tender system from October 13 to 15, while the remaining 1,468 lots from Group C will be offered for sale from October 16 to 17. In addition, private gems and jewelry shops within the Mani Yadana Jade Hall saw large numbers of visitors. The Myanmar Gems Emporium will continue through October 17.
