Dance of the humanoid robot

The humanoid robot "Canik Man" became a major crowd-puller at Southeastern Türkiye, delighting visitors, families, and children by interacting and dancing with them. Canik Man performed energetic routines including localized dance displays at Özdemir Bayraktar Science Campus booth along the festival's "Science Street".

Developed by the Canik Municipality in Samsun, Canik Man is recognized as Turkiye’s first officially registered humanoid robot. It has previously made headlines for civic engagements, such as attending municipal council sessions. Beyond entertainment and dancing, the robot served as an interactive guide for youth and visitors at the festival’s science and technology workshops, promoting the country's broader "National Technology Move" initiative.
