Partial results from Latvia's parliamentary election released on Sunday favored Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs' centre-right party United List. Following the October 3 vote, partial counts show the United List securing roughly 37% of the vote, significantly outperforming initial expectations.

Despite an unexpectedly wide margin of victory for the United List, no single party will command an absolute majority in the 100-seat parliament. Moreover, Kulbergs will need to initiate coalition talks to form a stable majority.
