Puzzle enthusiasts battle it out in the final of the World Jigsaw Puzzle Championship

In a test of both speed and patience, puzzle enthusiasts battle it out in the final of the World Jigsaw Puzzle Championship.

The event, held in northwest Spain from Wednesday to Sunday, saw around 1,700 people take part from 70 countries, solving a never-seen-before jigsaw puzzle. Maartje van der Meer from the Netherlands won the individual final at the  Championship, completing her puzzle in an incredible 27 minutes and 57 seconds.
