Russian President Vladimir Putin meets with UAE's Khaled bin Mohamed Al Nahyan

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed Al Nahyan on Saturday, on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit in New Delhi. Putin stated that the United Arab Emirates has become one of Russia's closest partners in the region, noting significant growth in trade, as well as expanding political and security cooperation.

The two sides exchanged views on Middle Eastern developments and discussed ways to coordinate and translate the outcomes of the BRICS Summit into practical initiatives.
