Sales of Fuel : Fuel sales continue under odd-even system

The Ministry of Electricity and Energy announced that fuel is being sold normally at fuel stations under the existing odd-even system and QR Code/Barcode requirements.

The ministry said restrictions requiring vehicles with even-numbered plates to travel on even dates and odd-numbered plates on odd dates were cancelled on September 9, 2026. However, fuel purchases will continue under the existing odd-even system using QR Codes and Barcodes as part of measures to ensure the country’s energy security.

The ministry also said sufficient measures have been taken to ensure fuel supplies and that fuel imports and distribution are being closely managed. Fuel stations are currently selling fuel without difficulties according to the existing system.
