Firefighters battle wildfires in Turkey's Antalya region

Firefighters on Tuesday fight against wildfires which broke out in Turkey's Antalya province, mainly in the Aksu district. Authorities evacuated 254 homes and 720 people in Aksu and neighboring areas, while further evacuations were underway.

Smoke and ash from the blaze reached Antalya city center, and power outages affected almost 3,000 subscribers in the area. Turkey's General Directorate of Forestry said that the fires have been brought under control.
