India’s EAM meets Luxembourg Deputy PM

The meeting between External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and Luxembourg’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel took place at Hyderabad House in New Delhi.

Minister Jaishankar highlighted the need for supply chain resilience and diversification amid global economic uncertainties. He thanked Luxembourg for its strong support regarding the India–European Union Free Trade Agreement, noting that its upcoming ratification opens "new horizons" for bilateral trade. Xavier Bettel praised India’s pragmatic approach and efficiency on the global stage, commending Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and India's role in building diplomatic bridges during geopolitical conflicts.
